StrataStruct is a professional quality aluminium joist framework system used to create platforms for decking and paving, or frameworks for enclosures. Available in two different profile heights (StrataStruct 20 & StrataStruct 30), these highly versatile systems, with a range of fittings to allow easy extension and fitting of cross beams or overlap joints, are perfect for Decks, Paver Installations, Shed Bases and more.

Unlike wood, alumium joists do not twist, warp or buckle and therefore do not require cross braces between the joists. This enables much faster and easier contruction and a reductin in the amount of materials needed.

Pedestal adaptors are available to provide a perfect fit, quick and easy way to attach the joists to any StrataRise Low Profile, Multi-Level or Hercules pedestals for easy levelling and height adjustment. Pedestals can be used on any firm base to achieve mounting heights up to 2 metres, thus allowing great flexibility for installations of all types.

Cross shaped spacers can be attached to the joists to enable equidistant laying of tiles for outdoor flooring. Wood or WPC decking planks can be fitted to the joists using hidden clip systems, or directly, using self-drilling stainless steel screws.

Pedestal adaptors are made of PP (polypropylene), the joist of aluminium and the connectors are made of PA (polyamide).

These products are used in the construction of supporting structures for the laying of outdoor decking and paving. It is recommended that pedestal supports are placed every 50cm under the main support joists.

StrataStruct aluminium joists are fully waterproof and offer an exceptionally long life. Unlike wood, the joists will not warp, or rot with time. They can be used with all types of wooden and WPC decking boards, or for supporting porcelain and other pavers. Both StrataStruct profiles have channels provided for inlaid rubber bead strips to cushion and provide acoustic damping when used for paver installations.
